Your health and your health issues are unique to you.
While you may have an exact diagnosis and treatment plan from your doctor, and that diagnosis and treatment plan may be the same as other patients, you may respond differently.
A holistic approach takes into consideration your personal variables from the start.
- What foods do you eat and how much/often
- What beverages do you drink
- What is your stress level like
- What do you do for relaxation and recreation
- What are your relationships like
- What is the family health history
- What do you do for physical activity
- What medications are you taking and why
All of these have an impact on your health and should be considered in an approach that is as unique as you are.
As a holistic practitioner I cannot diagnose (give your condition a disease name) or prescribe (tell you I can cure you with a herbal or vitamin product) but I can give you recommendations based on research and your needs and goals.
The goal is never simply symptom relief. The goal is always improved health through personally-appropriate food and beverages choices, stress management, and judiciously-chosen herbs, vitamins, and minerals.
I take your personal variables into account and teach you how to have more control over your health and well-being, in manageable steps, that can shift your health to a better balance. There may be similarities between your program and other clients I’ve worked with, but your program will always be unique to you and will be refined/tweaked on an as needed basis to continue to move you toward your health goals.
Personal, individualized support and program creation is what holistic health coaching is all about.
