You’ve had a diagnosis of PCOS from your doctor and you may be struggling with it. Hearing that your fertility is significantly reduced and that there may be other health ramifications can be pretty hard news to absorb.

Hear me clearly. The fact that you have PCOS is not your fault! There can be genetic predispositions, and the stresses of daily life (with the availability of denatured foods many of us trustingly consume), which push every woman toward PCOS!

Chances are, if you want to have a baby, your doctor has recommended medications like Metformin and Clomid. If you were given any other advice, you’re one of the lucky ones. And if the meds don’t work, your doctor can escalate your protocol all the way up to IVF.

Don’t get me wrong. What doctors offer is the best answer for some patients. But it is not what everyone is looking for. I’ve heard the process described by some couples as being on a medical conveyor belt or hamster wheel.

What you might be craving are ways to take control of your health. Ways for you to measure your own progress. A connection with someone who has experience in working with women who have PCOS, who values the personal approach, and who will take a personal interest in your program and your progress.

Diet and lifestyle are often at least partially responsible for the hormonal imbalance we call Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, but doctors often don’t have the training or the time to coach their patients on these important life-changing concepts.

That’s where I come in. I take the time to understand your symptoms, diet, lifestyle and, if you’re working with a doctor, your medications.

I’ll work with you to craft a food plan, lifestyle recommendations, and supplement program (herbs, vitamins, minerals, etc.) to meet your specific needs. I’ll teach you how to monitor your signs and symptoms, including fertility signs and symptoms, so you can see what’s working and what isn’t. We’ll modify your program as needed to continually draw you closer to your goal of hormonal wellness.

The goal here is to help you understand what your body needs to bring it into a healthy, fertile, hormonal balance. Bear in mind - this will take more than one appointment, and I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.
